Very hard to get trough the bad manual. Some important pieces for the roof are not mentioned in the manual. You need many more people to erect the house.

Bought the shed from canadian tire. Built an above ground shed base and opted not to use the floor frame kit. Make sure the place you're building is level it's important to be able to have everything line up well. I had very little issues. Easily erected in 3-4 hours . Only thing I didn't like is how you need to use silicone for waterproofing on the roof panels /windows/ and around the base, could have been desighned better in this regard . Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

Took 4 person days (2 people on a weekend). Completed an 11' x 11' foundation the weekend before. Foundation was built with 2" x 6" x 4' filled with limestone screening and topped with 2' x 30" and 12" x 12" patio stones. Use the manual - it helps, and is complete and well written.

We have just finished building this shed. What a shame that there is no base provided. I think it would be a good idea to increase the price but provide a plastic base. We can't all mix and lay cement some of us are elderly.

I bought this shed about a month ago. It’s great shed, instructions were easy to follow, all the parts were accounted for and they went together really well. I agree with other reviewers that building a solid square base is the most important part of the job that allows the shed to be put together easily.

Glad I bought this shed. Whole assembly was a breeze. Alot of work but, every hole lined up directions were great.hard to believe it's up..only thing is I would prefer resin floors since plywood is so expensive. I built a full platform to sit it on and now gotta floor it.. big expense for me..I didn't want it in the ground.highly recommend this one

took me 16 hours in total to build it but when done it was worth it, looks great, stands strong, directions were easy to read and step by step, pictures were thorough and easy to read also, real good shed for the price

Want to test your marriage assemble with your wife and for us everything went smooth.

Instructions were very clear and went together in a day. It would be even quicker installation if Duramax would get rid of Philips screws and incorporate Robertson screws.

Bought this to replace an old wooden shed. Easy to assemble and seems to be strong. Plus the wife likes it so win win happy wife happy life.

We bought this last summer and it has a great amount of space in it. My husband and I built it over a couple of days and only really fell out once!

The box the shed comes in is rather heavy so not suited to be moved around a lot, at the same time, no-one could steal it as it was too heavy!

The build itself was simple enough and the instructions were clear. The shed has now been erected for six months and has survived the cold weather we have here in Scotland. It looks like it will still be in place in 20 years time..

Very good purchase for the price.

The shed was simple to set up, instructions were very simple to follow and were enhanced by pictures. My wife and I completed it in one day and we are both in our seventies ..AND ..we are enjoying every minute, very durable and withstands our Canadian winter ..

Purchased in the fall of 2018, looks great, but I need to see how it survives this winter.

The trick to this shed is to have a square foundation. After that, just follow the instructions...I put this up in 3 days. The foundation took the most time. I used cement feet with 2 by 6's to make the foundation. 3/4 inch plywood for the floor. I did it all by myself so it took a little longer. I was pleased with the instructions and materials. The holes all lined up, making the fasteners easy to do. I have insulated it and use it as a studio in the winter. It is watertight, and warm. The roof is strong for the snow we get here in Canada. I'm very pleased with this shed!!

Fairly easy to put together - important to follow the instructions without skipping steps. It's been up nearly six months and happy with the look. When we have a lot of blowing snow, it seems to get into the inside of the shed but doesn't happen too often. Overall good value for the money.

Bought it last summer 2018, easy to assemble except for putting the walls and roof on. Assembled most of the roof then lifted it up on the walls, much easier. Of course this requires 4 people to lift it up.Also need a solid and square floor.

I bought this shed last summer and had it professionally assembled and installed. We prepared the pad it sits on where the old metal shed had been for over 40 years. The workers were skilled and got it up in a couple of hours. We then dug a trench to hold a perforated pipe on top of stones for drainage and we were done. It looks great and holds a lot. Very pleased with it. Lucky to have help of my brother and his son!

I builted last September....don't forget to remove snow on the roof ;-) Nice shed !

We closed up our wood burning fireplace but still needed some heat in the room. The fireplace we bought is a perfect size, provides great heat, is quiet and looks wonderful. It was also easy to install.

Purchased this shed in July.2018. Found it to be a reasonable install. Spent part of the day before reading the instruction manual and laying the foundation for the Duramax Shed. The foundation is constructed of 6' X 6" treated lumber as follows (2 X 10' and 4 X 7') following the floor layout in the manual. The shed took me a day and a half to assemble.

I decided to finish the inside of the Shed to be "bomb proof" by adding a floor and a complete internal frame for a number of reasons. First the floor using prestained 3/4" Ply cut to fit the floor rails that sit on the 6" X 6" floor joists as well as the outside joists. Next was the inside 2" X 4" frame which also provides me with hanging space for outdoor tools. In addition, the frame also holds the shelving which provides me with host of extra space for bottles and jars, electric tools, hedge cutters, edgers etc. The total install of extras was $125.00 well worth the investment. To finish the outside I purchased a bundle of roof shingles and installed them on the entire 2" X 6" frame which provides me with the assurance of not having several communities of rodents living rent free. Found I needed to seal the 3 windows which Duramax mentions in the instructions. Not sure why they haven't done this as part of the manufacturing process. The shed looks beautiful has stood up to winds of 65 mph, the first 6" snowfall of the season, (Feb 2019) lots of heavy rain, and the shed is bone dry. I'm very pleased with the product it has now been installed since late July and I would recommend it without hesitation. The extras are worth the investment .

We have now put together takes 2 people happy with the end results will see how it holds up for winter but please follow the instructions to a tee have fun

The 8X10 shed is not 96 inches x 120 inches as I found out this weekend. after building me wood framework with 6 x 6 pressure treated lumber, I found out that the 8 foot dimension is correct but the 10 ft dimension is actually 125.35 inches, which leaves me 6 inches short with my lumber frame. 8 ft x 10 ft should be 8 ft x 10 ft as advertised

i bought it on sale and after researching this was the best one for space and value of the dollar just love it

Finally built shed. As long as you follow the directions precisely, there is no problem. Assembled top wall edges wrong first time. Hard to remove screws, but once we redid it the correct way, things went very smoothly. Foundation frame pieces got in the way alot while we were putting up walls, but we solved that by laying in the plywood floor pieces (but not securing them till later). We built two. The second one went up really quick!

It was easy to assemble within a day and only requiring minimal help from a second body. There have been several storms and it has held up well. Hopefully there will be many happy years together for us! #mancave.

purchased this shed 6 mths ago. my wife and I put it together in 8hrs. Excellent instruction. Very sturdy once assembled.The floor kit was easy to assemble and we poured a concrete floor. Have had many compliments on how awesome the shed looked once installed. would highly recommend this product.

I love this item, but the only downfall is that there is no base to the shed, not everybody can build cement bases, or get someone to do a base for you at an extra cost, it's frustrating..also where do you get shelves to fit ,

From uk found this shed. Looks great. It is quite hard to put together 8hr shift but worth every minute. Don't buy a wooden shed this rocks

I am happy about my purchase. It is quite simple to assemble and offers a lot of storage space that my 6' X 9' previous shed was lacking.

I bought this she'd about 1.5 months ago to replace a tin model shed I had (7x7). Lots to build but very clear instructions and easy to build. Product is very durable and is built with high quality material. Lots of room for storage and vents on the roof keep the shed from over heating too much in our hot summers. Highly recommend this product!

good watertight building. Not simple to erect but ok for good DIY person. Need to buy internal shelving because you cannot stack anything against the sides but nevertheless I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this shed 2 month ago. Before you start to put together make an inventory of the parts. Also, you need to build a solid base (wood or concrete). I suggest to put down the floor, before assembling the walls. This way you will have the base squared. You need 2-3 people to assembly the walls especially if it is a windy day. The technical writing (instruction) sometimes is not very clear. Take time to read. Once you finish, looks great and it is very spacious. Over all is a good product for the price.
